CEO - Europe, Lend Lease

Dan first joined Lend Lease in 1997 as a site engineer.  Since then he has held various roles around the group globally in construction, development and within the corporate team.  He has also had the opportunity to undertake a secondment to establish the Hornery Institute, a non-profit organization established by the employees and shareholders of Lend Lease in 2001 to focus on community development.

Returning to Lend Lease in 2004 Dan developed and implemented a Sustainability Transformation Plan for the Lend Lease group; initiating the Sustainability Measurement criteria and global reporting requirements which resulted in the production of Lend Lease’s inaugural Sustainability report in 2005.

Dan has maintained his passion for sustainability leading the agenda in various executive positions at Lend Lease over the last five years.  Dan was a board member of the Australian Green Building Council before relocating to the UK in 2006 and has been on the advisory board of the UK GBC since its inception.  In October 2009, he was also appointed as a member on the UK GBC statutory board.
