Max Crofts

President, RICS and Partner, King Sturge LLP

Max Crofts graduated from the College of Estate Management in 1970. He began work with JP Sturge & Sons in Bristol as the firm’s first graduate trainee. His career has been spent with the same firm, now King Sturge, which has grown to be one of the largest property consultancies in the UK and mainland Europe.

His professional work encompasses corporate real estate advisory services, especially in the food sector, out-of-town retailing and arbitration in commercial property disputes. His term of office as RICS President started in July 2009.
