Paul Dreschler

Chairman and CEO, Wates Group Limited

Paul Drechsler is Chairman and Chief Executive of Wates Group. He was born in Ireland and, after studying Engineering at Trinity College, Dublin, spent 24 years with ICI, where he became a main board director. He is an international businessman who has spent much of his career in the USA, Latin America and Continental Europe.  He joined the Wates Group Board in September 2004. 

Paul is Senior Independent Director of Filtrona plc, Chairman of the CBI Energy Policy Committee, Chairman of the BiTC Education Leadership Team and a member of the Trinity College Dublin Business School Advisory Board.
