The biggest opportunity to address the UK's environmental impact lies in the better management and improvement of existing building stock. BREEAM In-Use is the new tool that helps building and facilities managers improve environmental performance and reduce running costs.

This workshop will show how you can use the BREEAM In-Use tool to benchmark environmental performance – focusing on the three areas of the scheme which are the ‘asset’ (the fabric of the building); its management and use; and the wider organisational and corporate issues that affect a building’s performance. It will show how property managers are using the scheme to manage and improve assets in a portfolio and ultimately obtain third party certification to prove to owners, shareholders, investors and other stakeholders that they are maximising the value of stock.
