ICS Heat Pump Technology
ICS Heat Pump Technology will be launching their new commercial 80kW packaged heat pump which will deliver 65°C output temperatures even in ambient temperatures as low as -12°C without any supplementary heating. This packaged unit is geared towards retrofit applications where its output temperatures will allow heat pump based renewable heating systems to be installed with minimal replacement work on existing radiator systems.


Lindum – biodiverse green roof mat
Lindum’s new Biodiverse Green Roof Mat will be launched at Ecobuild. The new pre-grown vegetative mat is designed to provide a biodiverse and visually pleasing alternative to pure sedum blankets. It consists of an attractive mixture of drought tolerant wildflowers, herbs, sedums and perennials that flower from April to September, providing an excellent habitat for bumblebees, butterflies, birds and invertebrates, whilst still offering the drought tolerant characteristics of sedums.


Polypipe Ventilation – heat recovery unit
Polypipe Ventilation be launching the new Polypipe SAP Q rated Mechanical Extract Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) unit.


Vortice – heat recovery system
Vortice kicks off 2010 with a brand new smaller size heat recovery system which will be launched at Ecobuild. The Vort Fenice HR200 is highly the compact dimensions and small enough to fit into a cupboard space, making itideal for apartments and smaller housing units.


Aeolus Power Limited – wind turbines
Aeolus Power will be introducing the Endurance Wind Power 50kW and 5kW turbines to the UK at Ecobuild. This Canadian 50kW turbine is the most efficient turbine in its class with an approximate power output at a wind speed of 6 m/s (at hub height) of 160,000 kWh per annum.


Lafarge Group – sustainable cement
The Lafarge Group will showcase their latest innovations in eco-efficient building products, including its pioneering sustainable bulk cement PhoenixTM, its packed cement range including Postcrete, Quality Assured Mortar Mix and Extra-Rapid, which have been developed with a focus on reduced environmental impact and its range of innovative sustainable readymix concretes Lafarge’s Land and Planning will be available to discuss the group’s sustainable regeneration projects including the redevelopment of Magheramorne cement quarry in Northern Ireland into the first One Planet Living Community in the UK.


Windhager – wood & log boilers
Ecobuild will be the official UK launch of Windhager’s latest wood pellet boiler the VarioWIN, designed for new build and low energy buildings. Compact and adaptable, with numerous configurations, pellet feed can be either manual or automatic along with manual and auto cleaning options.


JSC Meranti - window
Lithuanian window manufacturer, JSC Meranti, combines German technologies, British traditions and long working experience to launch a series of new outward opening triple glazed FSC Pure windows and doorsets with overall U value of 0.9 W/m2K at Ecobuild.

VM Zinc – integrated photovoltaic panel system                                                         
VM ZINC’s first appearance at Ecobuild will enable the leading international manufacturer of rolled zinc products to unveil its integrated photovoltaic panel system on stand 1457. The system utilises highly efficient, low profile solar panels with a zinc standing seam or batten cap roof.

Calorex - air source heat pump gets into hot water
Calorex will be launching a new Pro-Pac heat pump range for the small to medium commercial market. The range, covering 25kW to 70kW, delivers hot water up to 68ºC, with a flow of up to 55ºC for central heating. Designed to work in the temperate UK climate, controls and connections are designed to suit UK heating system design, and a reverse cycle defrost capacity means they can work in air temperatures as low as 15ºC.


DANLERS - PIR occupancy switch
The latest addition to DANLERS energy saving, lighting controls range is the PIR Occupancy Switch Module which measures 50mm x 25mm and can be suited into a Eurodata plate or built into luminaires. Its passive infra-red occupancy module brings the load on only when a person is present, thus saving on energy bills.
